On 11–13 December 2024, the workshop “Control of Quantum System @Erlangen 2024” [ConQuEr24] will take place at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). It is organised by Davide Lonigro and Daniel Burgarth, one of the PIs of the FAU LMQ.
The ConQuEr24 workshop will gather mathematicians and physicists working on quantum control theory, fostering discussions and new collaborations. In particular, the focus of the workshop will be on the mathematical challenges in the way of quantum control: infinite-dimensional systems, product formulas, Lie algebras, etc.
The program of the workshop will include talks from a number of invited speakers, and a poster session aimed at students and young researchers, who will have the chance to share their results with leading experts on the field.
